1. Controller and scope
RAYAAUSTIN LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is responsible for personal information processed in connection with this corporate website and correspondence sent to support@rayaaustin.org. We are registered in Alaska, United States. Our registered address appears in the contact section below.
This policy applies to the corporate website, including its authorized preview. LightXtreme VPN application use, account administration, subscriptions and VPN traffic are covered by the separate LightXtreme VPN Privacy Policy. This corporate website policy does not replace that product policy.
2. Information and sources
| Category | Source and examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Correspondence | Information you send: name, email address, message, attachments and relevant support details. | Respond to your inquiry, provide requested assistance and maintain a record of the matter. |
| Technical access information | Your browser and hosting infrastructure: IP address, requested URL, browser or device information, access time and error details, as processed by the hosting provider. | Deliver the site, maintain availability, diagnose errors and protect against abuse. |
| Privacy-request records | Your request, relevant correspondence and proportionate verification information where needed. | Verify, evaluate and respond to requests and document our response. |
We receive message content only when you send it. Please provide only information relevant to the inquiry and omit passwords, VPN credentials, payment-card details and unnecessary sensitive information.
3. How the contact form works
The form prepares a message in your own email application using an email link. Selecting “Open email draft” does not send a message to us. You must review and send the draft in your email application.
The website code does not upload form entries to a form-processing service or save them in local storage, session storage or a website database. Your browser may independently offer autofill or restore form entries; your email provider processes drafts and sent messages under its own terms and privacy policy. Once we receive an email, we process it as correspondence under this policy.
4. Purposes and legal bases
We process information to respond to business and support inquiries, manage correspondence, deliver and secure the website, investigate misuse, comply with applicable obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Where a legal basis is required, the basis depends on the activity: taking steps at your request before a contract or performing a contract; legitimate interests in answering inquiries and operating a secure website, balanced against your rights; compliance with a legal obligation; or consent for a specific optional activity where required. Sending an inquiry is not consent to unrelated marketing.
6. Recipients and disclosures
Personal information may be processed by hosting, email and security providers involved in delivering the website or handling correspondence, and by personnel who need access to address your inquiry. Professional advisers may receive relevant information when needed for advice or legal claims.
We may disclose information where legally required, in response to a valid legal request, or where necessary and lawful to protect people, rights or service security. If a merger, reorganization or business transfer involves personal information, any disclosure must remain subject to applicable confidentiality, notice and data-protection requirements.
7. International processing
We are a United States company. Hosting and email services may process information in the United States or other countries, whose privacy laws may differ from yours. Where applicable law requires a lawful transfer mechanism or safeguards, those requirements apply to the transfer; use of this website alone is not treated as a waiver of your rights.
Contact support@rayaaustin.org for information about the processing locations and transfer safeguards relevant to your inquiry. This policy does not claim certification under any international transfer framework.
8. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including resolving inquiries, meeting applicable recordkeeping duties and addressing legal claims. Retention depends on the nature of the matter, the sensitivity of the information, whether the matter remains open and any legal retention requirement.
Technical records are subject to the applicable hosting provider’s retention settings. The contact form itself has no website database or stored submission history. Where deletion is requested, lawful retention requirements and backup-deletion cycles may affect when all copies can be removed.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the personal information and the risks involved. Access should be limited to the people and providers who need it for the stated purposes. No online service, storage system or email channel can be guaranteed completely secure. If a security incident requires notice under applicable law, the applicable notification requirements apply.
10. Requests and your rights
Depending on your location and the laws that apply, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; or complain to a competent privacy authority. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing. Rights may be subject to statutory conditions and exceptions.
Email support@rayaaustin.org with the subject “Privacy request,” describe your request and indicate the email address used in the relevant correspondence. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We may request proportionate verification and, where applicable, proof that an authorized agent may act for you. Do not send identity documents unless reasonably requested through an appropriate channel.
If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain the reason to the extent required by law, together with any applicable appeal or complaint route. We will not discriminate against you for exercising rights protected by applicable law.
11. Children’s information
The corporate website is intended for general company and product information and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13 through this website. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps. The product’s own eligibility rules are addressed in its separate policies.
12. Product and third-party services
Following a product or app-store link takes you to a separate service with its own data practices. VPN connection processing and any product account, device, diagnostic or payment information must be assessed under the product policy. Website access records are distinct from VPN activity or connection logs; this policy does not make a VPN no-logging or anonymity guarantee.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in website functionality, providers or legal requirements. The revised date will be shown at the top of the page. We will provide additional notice and obtain consent where required before materially changing a purpose that requires it. A policy update does not override your statutory rights.
